Privacy Policy

My Art Starz is committed to protecting the privacy of each teacher, student, parent and customer who utilizes our system. Any personal and/or private information you disclose to us will not be sold or disclosed to any third parties outside those necessary to complete your order. Our strict “Personal Security Policy” includes ongoing reviews and upgrades to security procedures and technology in an effort to maintain the highest standards of protection for our patrons.

Teachers

Teachers will approve artwork for posting in the school gallery and then submit students’ first and last name in a private, secured teacher roster. Our website will create a unique student identifier for each child and attach it to the piece of art. Art work will be displayed and organized by class in the school gallery with each child’s unique student identifier underneath it. The teachers will keep all the unique student identifiers' and roster if parents need their child’s unique student identifier. The name of the school and the name of the teacher will be posted on the website and publicly accessible to all users of our website.

Parents (Coming Soon!)

Although teachers will be the main people creating art galleries for their students, Parents can also create an art gallery for their other children at home. Parents are required to register with My Art Starz and need to follow the My Art Starz guidelines when submitting artwork. Parents will follow the same procedures as teachers. Parents will input the first and last name of the child in a private area and the website will assign a screen name.

Student Information

Teachers or My Art Starz Representatives will enter a student’s first and last name into a private class roster for the purpose of obtaining a secret unique student identifier. This information is gathered for the sole purpose of obtaining parental consent. The information is not maintained in a retrievable form by My Art Starz if parental consent is not obtained after a reasonable time (two years).

Submission of Artwork

Children under 18 years old may not submit any artwork online. Parents, Teachers, and My Art Starz Representatives (and their contracted employees) are the only ones allowed to submit artwork online.

Gift Shop Purchases

Students under 18 years of age are NOT ALLOWED to purchase products from My Art Starz Products.

Screen Names of Students

My Art Starz Products has gone to great lengths to protect the identity of students with artwork online. The artists are identified by a screen name and there is no way for visitors to the website to directly or indirectly contact them.

Public Information

School Names and Teachers are posted publicly on My Art Starz Products website. Student artwork shown in a teacher’s class will be identified with a private unique student identifier.
